Welcome
Thanks for stopping in on Easy iPod repair.
I started this website for anyone who has had
trouble getting their broken iPod repaired. Not that you haven't
tried, but I know what it's like. You take your iPod to your local
repair shop where the technicians there tell you that your hard
drive went down and it needs to be replaced. You try to think
about when you would have ever abused your $300 toy when the technician
tells you that the part will cost you approximately $127 plus $60 per
hour labor for at least an hour, totaling $187!
I made with website for
those people who have these kind of issues, and for those people who
really want to learn: a) More about iPod repairing b) More about iPod
modification c) More cool tips and tricks that not everyone takes the
time out to discover about the iPod. I've brought them all here to
one place for everyone to see. Very soon (if not already) I'll
post a forum for everyone to share what they've learned or accomplished
with their iPod. That being said, please read the disclaimer at
the bottom of the page and let's get started! Just click on a link
to get taken to where you need to go.
Disclaimer:
Please keep in mind that if you are not familiar with electronics, you
might have some difficulty completing these repairs, you may even damage
your iPod! So please, think about what you are doing before
you do it. I hereby exempt myself from any responsibility if you
end up further damaging your iPod if you choose to follow my guidelines.
Any repairing or modification you make to your iPod will void any
manufacturer or service warranty and is done so at your own risk.
I strongly recommend that if you still have some kind of warranty
intact, you use it to repair your iPod (because free repairs are the
best kind!). This reminder will be posted at the beginning of each
walkthrough. |
